One New COVID-19 Case at LHU; Number Now at Four
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University on Thursday announced one additional positive test for COVID-19 since testing recently began with the start of the new school year.
The Thursday LHU dashboard shows 714 tests administered with four positive results and 687 negative results for a positivity rate of 0.58 percent.
A positivity rate of 5.0 percent is recognized as the benchmark for high risk of community spread. University President Robert Pignatello announced Wednesday that surveillance of the virus will continue through additional testing of up to 20 percent of the populations first tested next week and then, another time when everyone returns from the Labor Day weekend.
