Ethel Margaret Traxler – Obituary
Ethel Margaret Traxler, 75, of 505 Linden St., Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
She was born in Lock Haven on April 20, 1940, the daughter of the late James and Adele Holt Darby.
Ethel was a 1958 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish of Lock Haven and participated in the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
Ethel is survived by two sons, William (Angela) Traxler of Arkansas and Lee Traxler of Kansas; a daughter, Karen Traxler of Jersey Shore; a brother, Raymond Darby; two sisters, Carol Fye and Leanna Lohman; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745 with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.
Inurnment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Lock Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
