Elsie Jane Hahn – Obituary
<img src=”http://therecord-online.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/ObitArt-150×150.jpg” alt=”ObitArt” width=”150″ height=”150″ class=”alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-191″ />Elsie Jane Hahn, 90, a lifelong resident of Farrandsville, currently residing at Kephart Plaza, Lock Haven passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Lock Haven Hospital Emergency Room.
Born on October 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lenfred Rogers and Harriet Rogers-Eyer.
In her early years Jane worked at Sylvania as well as Corning. She was proud to be one of the first “meter maids” in Lock Haven. Jane was employed at the Ross Library until September 2015.
She attended the Lock Haven First Church of Christ.
Jane was a member of the Castanea Fire Hall.
She enjoyed reading.
Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly (Paul) Vance and Kelly Hahn, both of Lock Haven; a daughter-in-law, Trudy Hahn of Renovo; a sister, Betty (John) Serrf of Florida; five grandchildren: Mike (Kristin) Vance, Heather (Justin) McKeague, Wayne (Diana) Hahn of Texas, Shelley (Shawn) Sockman, and KaSara Hanh; many great grandchildren; and the father of her children, Charles A. Hahn of Lock Haven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Hahn, and three brothers.
Private burial will take place at Swissdale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Ross Library, 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven or the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall.
