Irene M. Page – Obituary

ObitArtIrene M. Page, 93, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Born in Lamar on March 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Viola May Campbell King.

On December 24, 1940 Irene married the love of her life, Frederick T. Page who preceded her in death on November 16, 1991.

Throughout her lifetime she held various positions at Clinton Paper, Sylvania, and the Silk Mill.

Irene was a member of the McElhattan United Methodist Church.

She was also a member of the Lock Haven American Legion Auxiliary.

Irene enjoyed dancing, cooking, and baking, but she especially loved the time she spent with her daughter and grandchildren.

Surviving is her daughter, Betty J. Shady of Lock Haven; a granddaughter, Rickie Kay Smith; two great grandchildren, Zane Driver and Charlie Patricia Page Smith; and a half-sister, Doris M. McCulley of Lock Haven.

In addition to her husband, Irene was preceded in death by five brothers: Elmer, Edward, Boyd, Russell, and Simon King; and four sisters: Beatrice Klinefelter, Laruell Toner, Laura King, and Dorothy Dorman.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with the Pastor Bob Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association or the Clinton County SPCA through the funeral home.
