RENOVO – The Friends of the Renovo Library recently gathered for their monthly meeting. This non-profit group dedicates its efforts to bolstering the resources and programs offered by the Renovo Library. Funds raised support a variety of initiatives, including youth programs, master gardener sessions, and presentations by acclaimed authors, in addition to the purchasing of new books.

During the gathering, members were pleasantly surprised by a generous contribution of $505 from the Renovo Outreach Program. The Friends of the Library express their sincere gratitude for this impactful donation.

Newcomers interested in supporting the library are encouraged to join the organization. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Renovo Library.

In other news, the Renovo Area Library invites you on May 23 at 4:00 p.m. for a book signing event. Steven Kurutz will be showcasing his latest publication, “American Flannel” which tells the narrative of several U.S. clothing manufacturers/entrepreneur’s determination to bring the art of flannel making back to America. You will not want to miss this wonderful event.

Furthermore, mark your calendars for July 20, as Carpenters Captures will be offering fun “apple themed” 20-minute family photoshoots to registered participants.
