Assault
CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP— On January 21, 2025, at 7:39 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to Park Avenue for an incident involving physical assault. Following the investigation, a 60-year-old male from North Bend was taken into custody and charges were filed through District Court 25-3-03.
Statutory Rape/Sexual Assault
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— An incident involving Statutory Rape/Sexual Assault is alleged to have occurred in Flemington on January 21, 2025. State police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
Motor Vehicle Accident
LEIDY TOWNSHIP— On January 20, 2025, at approximately 7:13 a.m., a crash occurred on SR-144 north of its intersection with Snow Mobile Trail. Gavin Gavlock, 23, from Renovo, failed to negotiate a left curve, causing the 2002 Dodge Dakota he was driving to veer off the road. The front of the vehicle hit an embankment before reentering the roadway and coming to a stop facing south in the northbound lane. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, but no injuries were reported.
Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On January 19, 2025, Melanie Alvarez-Chica, 27, from Fresh Meadows, NY, was involved in a crash while traveling east on I-80 in the center lane. Due to snow on the roadway, she lost control of her vehicle, which veered into the right lane before leaving the road and hitting the guide rail on the south berm. The vehicle continued moving eastbound before it rotated clockwise, struck another guide rail with its rear, and came to a final stop. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On January 18, 2025, at 7:53 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a 911 hang-up call in the area of Iron Gate Road and Lilac Way. Upon investigation, it was discovered that a physical domestic incident had taken place. As a result, charges were filed against a 64-year-old woman from Beech Creek through District Court 25-3-02.
PFA Violation
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 17, 2025, at approximately 10:19 p.m., a Protection From Abuse (PFA) violation took place at 74 S. Parsons Drive. Heath Hague, 43, from Beech Creek, was found to be in violation of the PFA and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility to await arraignment, and charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.
Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 16, 2025, a crash occurred on Lusk Run Road involving Robert Confer Jr., 35, from Trout Run. While traveling in the northbound lane, Confer’s 2005 Pontiac Vibe entered the southbound lane, rotated clockwise, and slid back across the northbound lane before leaving the roadway. The driver’s side of the vehicle then struck a utility pole. Confer subsequently moved his vehicle off the road onto School House Road. The vehicle sustained disabling damage from the crash, but no injuries were reported.
Assault w/Bodily Injury
AVIS BOROUGH— On January 16, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to Clinton Street in response to a domestic incident in progress. Heath Cipriani, 38, from Williamsport, fled the scene before the troopers arrived. The investigation revealed that there was an active PFA order involving the parties and that the domestic incident had been physical. Cipriani later turned himself in at the Lamar barracks and was arraigned on charges of violating a PFA, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
Hit and Run
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On January 16, 2025, at approximately 10:36 p.m., a crash occurred involving Elijah Tabatabai, 22, from Lock Haven, who was driving north on Park Avenue. His vehicle veered out of its lane and hit a 4×4 wooden house number marker on the right side of the road. Tire tracks in the snow indicated that the vehicle left the road for an unknown reason, struck the marker, and then continued through the yard before returning to Park Avenue, according to the report issued by PSP Lamar.
Criminal Mischief
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On January 14, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to C.S. Small Engine Service located at 1163 Mackeyville Road for a report of criminal mischief. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is asked to call PSP Lamar barracks at 570-726-6000.
Theft/Crime By Deception
GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP— On January 14, 2025, PSP Lamar received a report of theft by deception in which a 65-year-old male victim from Lock Haven sent $350 worth of gift cards to an unknown actor(s). PSP is currently investigating the incident.
Harassment
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 14, 2025, at approximately 1:05 p.m., PSP Lamar received a report of a fight that occurred at Central Mountain High School. State Police are still investigating the incident.
DUI Crash
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 13, 2025, PSP Lamar was dispatched to Original Italian Pizza located at 150 Hogan Boulevard for a report of a single-vehicle crash with property damage. After investigation, the driver, identified as a 47-year-old male from Lock Haven, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 12, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Dylan Proctor, 32, from Beech Creek, allegedly took merchandise without paying from Advance Auto Parts located at 281 Hogan Boulevard after passing through all points of sale. No further information was included in the report.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar is investigating a retail theft incident involving a 21-year-old male from Lock Haven, which occurred between October 1 and December 19, 2024, at the Nittany Minit Mart. The store’s loss prevention team is currently reviewing security footage and calculating the total value of the stolen merchandise, which is estimated to be between $150.00 and $200.00.
Disorderly Conduct
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP— On November 26, 2024, at 6:36 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers were requested by Clinton County Children and Youth Services to assist with the court-ordered removal of a child from a residence. While attempting to serve the court order, two individuals at the residence became aggravated while being informed of the information contained in the order. One individual repeatedly disregarded all commands given by the state police troopers. Consequently, appropriate charges were filed against a 40-year-old woman from Lock Haven.
PFA Violation
MILL HALL BOROUGH— On November 22, 2024, PSP Lamar received a report of a PFA violation at 200 Ben Avenue. The complainant reported that a call was made to a protected party’s phone. This investigation continues.
Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 28, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a package containing a pair of “Hey Dude” shoes was stolen from the 300 block of Long Run Road. The investigation concluded with the incident being deemed unfounded, according to the report issued by PSP Lamar.
