Obituary – Joy Ann Winters

Joy Ann Winters, 68, of Lock Haven passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at The Gatehouse in UPMC Williamsport. 

Joy loved visiting the ocean and did her best to bring the beach home with her.  When she wasn’t able to bury her toes in the sand, she stayed busy getting her hands dirty in the garden. 

Most cherished was her time spent with those she loved- whether with visiting grandchildren or friends catching up over coffee or lunch. She will be remembered as a mother to many and a friend to all. 

Surviving her are her son, Daniel; daughter, Hannah; husband, Marshall; and sister, Beth. 

Joy was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts as well as her blended family, including a daughter, sons and five grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Richard and Jane Stark, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick. 

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 5 until 7 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. 

Memorial contributions in Joy’s name may be made to the ASPCA through the funeral home.
