Prospective Clinton County candidates’ informational session Monday night

LOCK HAVEN, PA –A candidates’ information night for those interested in running in the May primary election is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday in Clinton County’s Piper Building.

Clinton County voter registration director Maria Boileau Boileau had announced the meeting recently. She has asked that prospective candidates call her office ahead of time so that sufficient petition packets can be prepared to hand out at the meeting to be held in the Piper Building’s second floor..

She said Feb. 14 through March 7 is the state-set petition gathering period for candidates seeking to be on the May 16 ballot.

Positions on the ballot this year include all three commissioner posts, county sheriff, district attorney, prothonotary, register & recorder, all three auditor slots and all three of the county’s district magisterial posts. .
