Betty E. Kahler – Obituary
Betty E. (Stover) Kahler, 84, formerly of 747 Bressler Street, Flemington and currently residing at Susque View Home, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Lock Haven Hospital.
Born in Lock Haven on May 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Kathryn Gunsullas Dorman.
Betty was married to William F. Stover who preceded her in death.
She was employed as a lab supervisor by Geisinger Medical Group.
Betty was a member of the Lock Haven Church of Christ.
She was also a member of the Senior Circle as well as the Flemington Hi-Neighbor Club.
Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family.
She loved her dog, Abbie.
Betty is survived by two sons, Daryl (Linda) Stover of Mill Hall and Wayne (Gail) Stover of Howard; four grandchildren: Wendy, Cathy, Kim, and Wynne; 4 great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington with the Rev. Steve Salmon officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 2 PM until the time of the service.
