Mill Hall Area Woman Loses Life in Freak Accident

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – A Mill Hall area woman lost her life in a freak accident along Cider Press Road in Woodward Township on Tuesday.

Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna identified the victim as Rachael D. Kauffman, 42. She was pronounced dead on arrival at UPMC Lock Haven Hospital late Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident; a mishap, Hanna said, in which one of the vehicles rolled over, striking the victim as she was standing next to her vehicle which was parked at the time along Cider Press Road.

Woodward Township police investigated the accident and details have not yet been made available.

Mrs. Kauffman was the wife of Vince Kauffman, program director at Bald Eagle Boys Camp.
