LHU COVID-19 Cases up One
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University on Friday reported one additional positive test for coronavirus, running the total to 59. The school’s dashboard listed 1,045 tests, up 12 from the most recent listing. The positivity rate remains at 5.6 percent.
The school last week began two weeks of remote instruction because of an upsurge in cases at the time.
The school said LHU is aiming for a Sept. 21 resumption of face-to-face classes, but before that can happen there will be reentry COVID-19 testing available to all students living on or off campus and/or taking face-to-face classes and to employees. The voluntary testing will be done Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 16-17 and results processed before Monday, Sept. 21.
The LHU dashboard can be seen at http://www.lockhaven.edu/Covid19Dashboard/ and is normally updated daily at 9 a.m. on weekdays.
