Another LHU Update: A Monday Spike in COVID-19 Cases
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The number of positive test results for COVID-19 jumped by 28 cases at Lock Haven University on Monday.
The Monday morning update from the LHU dashboard showed an increase of three cases from the last posting last Friday. But a Monday afternoon update was posted, showing another 25 positive cases for a total of 33. The new posting said 822 tests have been administered, now with 33 positive cases and 789 negative results. The positivity rate jumped from 1.01 percent Monday morning to 4.0 percent Monday afternoon.
A positivity rate of 5.0 percent is recognized as the benchmark for high risk of community spread.
