Jessica L. Caris – Obituary

Jessica L. Caris, 31, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her residence.

Born on July 8, 1982 in Meadville, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Mancil Gray and Julie Martella of Lock Haven.

Jessica was raised in Renovo and graduated from Bucktail High School in 2000 and also from Keystone Job Core in 2003. Her most recent employment was with Susque View Home as a CNA.

Jessie enjoyed old pictures, dream catchers, and music. She was a kind, compassionate person who had a smile for everyone and deeply loved her family.

She is survived by her mother; a daughter, Elana and a son, Hunter, who lives at home; a sister Leanne Richards of Lock Haven; two brothers, Ralph (Chris) Culver of South Renovo and Francis Gray of State College.

Also surviving is her loving grandmother, Evelyn Culver of Renovo, with whom she spent a great deal of her life with while growing up. They had a special love for each other.

Jess leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces that will also cherish their memories of her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Culver.

She will be sadly missed and forever loved.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 3 PM the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 East Church Street, Lock Haven with the Rev. Malcolm Nevel. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 2 PM until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at North Bend Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Life Center.
