Obituary – Lorraine D. Galbraith
Lorraine D. Galbraith, 84, of Milton and formerly of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 31, 1940 in Loganton, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Stella (Moyer) Harer.
Lorraine was married to M. Gary Galbraith who preceded her in death in 1999.
For 24 years she was employed as a custodian at Lock Haven University, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of United Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Lorraine enjoyed traveling.
Most of all, she loved her family- especially time spent with her granddaughter and great granddaughters.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary Dumm of Milton; brother, David (Rita) Harer of Lock Haven; granddaughter, Holly (Shaun) Evans of Milton; and great granddaughters, Oakleigh and Lilly.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Harer.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 12 Noon at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Lorraine’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the funeral home.
