Obituary – Anna Mary Keen
Anna Mary Keen, 88, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Haven Skilled Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing. She was born in Lock Haven on August 27, 1935 to Irvin and Sara Hamm Bauman.
Anna was united in marriage to Forrest Keen on July 7, 1967 who survives. She had worked at Bobbie Brooks, Bloomsburg Mills, and Widman’s Drug Store. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and doing word search puzzles.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, David Bitner, four daughters Mae “Ellie” E. (Duwaine) Duck, Mary J. Confer, Tina (John) Simcox, Jody Benfield. Two brothers, Raymond Bauman, and Nelson “Ed” (Gretchen) Bauman, two sisters, Loretta (Dale) Keen and Alma Kling.
Anna was preceded in death by her infant daughter, five brothers, Richard, Merle, Albert Jr, James, and Charles Bauman. Two sisters, Betty Eyer and Laura Darby.
Memorial Services for Anna Mary Keen will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main Street, Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to services. Officiating will be Pastor Susan Champion of the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Mill Hall.
Memorials in Anna’s name can be given to the charity of your choice.
