Central Mountain Hands Selinsgrove 4-1 Loss in Boys’ Tennis

SELINSGROVE – Central Mountain boys’ tennis took their show on the road today and came home with a 4-1 win over the Seals to move to 2-1 on the season.

The lone loss for the Wildcats came at No. 1 where Selinsgrove’s Steven Pomylcalski defeated CM’s Matt Schubach, 6-3, 6-4.

The balance of the contests was a clean sweep for the Wildcats with Raahi Chapla beating Selinsgrove’s Noah Wise, 7-6, 6-2 at No. 2 singles while Matthew Marasco took down Seals’ Asher Stuck, 6-0, 6-4.

In No. 1 doubles action, Micah Brinker and Thomas Cygan added another win for the ‘Cats, defeated Selinsgrove’s Connor Shaffer and Matt Carroll, 6-4, 7-5.

Yash Adroja and Morgan Talbot closed out the action for Central Mountain with a 6-4, 63 win over def Nick Thompson and Liam Finnerty of the Seals at No. 2 doubles.
