Brennan commended for years of service, new Operating Board elected at CCEP Annual Meeting

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Economic Partnership Annual Meeting was held Wednesday evening in the conference room at the Best Western hotel. It was special as it was the last annual meeting for retiring Chamber/Tourism Director Julie Brennan.
Brennan, who has been Chamber/Tourism Director for eight years, handed off the torch to incoming director Kira Rosamilia, and thanked her friends and supporters who had been with her along the way.
“Thank you so very much to the many people and great partners I’ve made along the way who have supported me and have become my friends,” Brennan said. “It has been a very fun, rewarding job and I am so happy to have created a firm foundation for incoming director Kira to build on.”
Jim Russo, who chaired the annual meeting in CEO Mike Flanagan’s absence, was closing out the annual meeting when he paused to reflect on Brennan’s time with the Partnership.
“We are looking forward to working with Kira, but I need to first thank Julie for the eight years she has spent as Chamber/Tourism Director,” Russo said. “She has worked as hard as she possibly can and no one will be able to fill her shoes here and I will certainly miss her, thank you, Julie.”
In addition, five members of the Partnership Operating Board were elected for three-year terms of service, including incumbents Bill Garbrick, who represents First Quality and currently serves as the operating board Chairman; Marci Orndorf, who represents the Wayne Township Landfill and currently serves as board vice chair; Dave Harger with Harger Utility Contractors and Dr. Stephen Lee with Commonwealth University-Lock Haven, and new board member Susie Peters, representing the Clinton County Conservation District.
Outgoing Operating Board member Steve Bason, representing Cedar Run Environmental Services, was commended for his time and years of service to the Partnership.
