Woodward Township’s Riverfest 2023 underway

LOCKPORT, PA – Woodward Township Recreation Committee’s Riverfest 2023 is up and running through Saturday at the Lockport Boat Launch.

Three days of activities began Thursday evening and continue through a fireworks wrap-up on Saturday night.
Organizers ask the public to come by and buy a chance on a plastic duck or two for a chance to win the $1,000 top prize if your duck crosses the derby finish line first on Saturday. The ducks go into the Susquehanna Saturday at 5 p.m. Mix Tape started three nights of music on Thursday. Flashback is on stage Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Classic Rock Revival plays Saturday from 7-10 p.m.

There’s plenty of food, games, craft vendors and more. followed by fireworks after Saturday’s music ends. Proceeds benefit Woodward Township Recreation Committee.
