“Accentuate The Positive” Luncheon planned for June 28

LOCK HAVEN, PA – On Wednesday, June 28, 2023 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Accentuate The Positive” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.
Following the special feature theme of “Accentuating The Positive” will be guests Charlene Martin and Christine Bender. They are representatives from The Bald Eagle Boys Camp and will talk about the positive work being done there.
There is always a musical component at the luncheons and that portion of June’s program is entitled “Latch On To The Affirmative”. June’s special music guest is Dan Smith. Dan is a featured soloist and instrumentalist with The U.S. Navy.
Bringing positive words will be Michelle Kim from New Brunswick, New Jersey. “She speaks of a Journey Toward Joy – From cultural bondage and abuse to a transformation and from hopeless pessimist to a joyful optimist.
The program begins at 11:50 AM. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers.
Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.
This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The Luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. The group is requesting that all who plan to attend make reservations.

Ladies planning to attend are reminded to plan alternate routes to the Flemington Church of Christ due to the road closing for the Flemington bridge repairs.
