Hearth and Home Luncheon planned for March 22
LOCK HAVEN, PA – On Wednesday, March 22, 2023 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Hearth and Home” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.
The theme of March’s lunch is ”Hearth and Home”. Cindy Smithmyer from the Loganton area will demonstrate and exhibit burlap wreaths.
There is always a musical component at the luncheons and March’s is entitled “Heartwarming Melodies”. The special music for March’s program will be presented by gifted local soloist, Krista Hamilton.
“Home Sweet Home” is the theme for inspirational speaker, Bonnie Winters from Philipsburg, PA. Bonnie has a passion for learning and creating new things. One way she creates new things is by writing. She is the author of three women’s fiction books featuring Biblical heroines who have overcome great difficulties in their lives through their faith. The title of her talk is “Walking Through a Hall of Mirrors”.
The program begins at 11:50 AM. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.
This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. The group is requesting that all who plan to attend make reservations.
