Lock Haven Jaycees Regatta on schedule
LOCK HAVEN, PA – As of noon on Sunday, the 51st annual Lock Haven Area Jaycees Labor Day Regatta remains on schedule. That means that the much-anticipated fireworks display remains set for 10 p.m. Sunday, with the rain date Monday at 9 p.m. Weather forecasters say there is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms tonight but as of noon the fireworks are still good to go Sunday night (therecord-online will post any changes to the schedule when received).
The schedule as provided by the Jaycees:
Boat races will be held from (scheduled): Sunday, Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, Sept 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Midway – featuring all your favorite food, drinks and games – Sunday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Monday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Entertainment on the Jaycee Stage on the corner of Water and Jay streets: Sunday, Sept. 4, presented by Bear Country: 12-10:30 p.m.: Private Stock Trio, The Clark McClane Band, Biscuit Jam, Ridin’ Shotgun, The Echo and Sway, and Kopper and Kash.
Monday, Sept. 5., presented by the Lock Haven Area Jaycees: Noon to 3 p.m., Trip The Light Party Band; 5 to 8 p.m., Rock of Ages (ROAR).
Fireworks: Sunday, Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. Weather postponement, if necessary, Monday, Sept. 5 at 9 p.m.
