CM girls’ tennis set for season

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Veteran coach Pete Wert is working with a squad of 13 on this season’s Central Mountain girls’ tennis team. They include letter-winners Claire Long, Zeta Blesh, Ellie Gundy and Bree Weaver.

Coach Wert said the team should again be competitive in the PHAC Division 1 this season and has hopes of finishing near the top of the conference. He told The Record, “The girls have been working hard during the off season to prepare and they should be good to go.”

First match was scheduled for Monday at Milton; home opener scheduled for this Wednesday at the Gibson Tennis Complex, Danville the opponent.
