Lady Wildcats Crush Bloomsburg, 15-4 Behind Big Bats and Weaver’s 14 Ks

BLOOMSBURG – Central Mountain used a balanced offensive attack and a dominant performance in the circle to earn a commanding 15-4 road win over Bloomsburg on Monday evening.

After going scoreless through the first two innings, the Lady Wildcats found their rhythm and scored in every frame from the third on, including a five-run sixth that blew the game wide open. Central Mountain finished with 16 hits and took full advantage of three Bloomsburg errors to secure the win in seven innings.

Aubrey Eiler continued her strong season at the plate, delivering two hits, including a home run. Joslyn Shultz added with a home run of her own and finished the game with two hits. Jacey Trip also went deep for the Wildcats, launching a  home run.

Cora Myers and Mallory Wunder each contributed with two solid hits, helping to keep the pressure on Bloomsburg’s defense throughout the game. Rylan Andrews had a standout performance, going 3-for-4 to lead the team in total hits.

Taylor Doyle collected two hits, including a double, while Ava Doyle added a triple. Aubrey Miller added a hit to round out the productive Wildcat lineup.

Camdyn Weaver was in command from the first pitch, tossing a complete game while striking out 14 Bloomsburg batters. Weaver allowed just three hits and four runs over seven innings, walking only one. Her ability to mix pitches and work ahead in the count kept the Panthers off balance all night.

With the win, the Lady Wildcats continue to build momentum in the Conference. They will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Shikellamy for another key matchup.
