Mary J. Rafter – Obituary
Born October 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Daniel and Sarah Rhine Hunsinger.
Mary was a 1964 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was employed by Weis Markets in Mill Hall, serving in numerous departments over the years.
Mary attended Lamar United Methodist Church with her family.
She was a member of Tops in Lock Haven.
Mary enjoyed reading.
She cherished every moment she spent with her granddaughter, Hannah, who was the center of her life.
Surviving is a daughter, Tracie (Doug) Heller of Mill Hall and their daughter, Hannah; two brothers: Jacob D. Hunsinger, Jr. of Mill Hall and John Hunsinger (Dorothy Schwab) of Flemington; and two nieces: Missy Confer and Bobbi Jo Hunsinger.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Clarence Hunsinger; a sister who died during her childhood, Sarah Jane Hunsinger; and an infant sister, Francis Hunsinger.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with the Rev. Joan Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. as well as on Thursday morning from 10 until the time of the service.
