Old Renovo DJ Office – Top Bid $30,100

LOCK HAVEN – With commissioner Jeff Snyder wielding the letter opener, the Clinton County commissioners today (Monday) opened the bids for the county sale of its old Renovo area District Justice office on Third Street in the borough.

Two bids were received, the apparent high bid submitted by Fredrick Curran of Boca Raton, FL, his bid $30,100. The second was submitted by Dale Riggle of Riggle LLC, Central Avenue, Renovo, in the amount of $17,050.

The commissioners said they would forward the bids to county solicitor Larry Coploff for review.

The county decided earlier this year to marked the better than 40-year-old building rather than demolish it. The new Renovo D-J office will have a ribbon-cutting on Friday of this week.
