Charles Bradley Dieffenbacher – Obituary

Charles “Brad” Dieffenbacher, 63, of Avis, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 after an extended illness.

Brad was born in Montoursville on November 11, 1950, the son of Edgar Leroy and Katherine Louise Dieffenbacher.

He had four sisters, Darla, Julie, Dixie and Marcie; and two brothers, Mark and Brian.

Brad attended Mountoursville schools and graduated from W.A.C.C. with a degree in Construction Technology.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a voracious reader, being particularly interested in science fiction and history.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the BMW Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lynn; two sons, Adam Dieffenbacher and Matthew Dieffenbacher; two step-sons, Isaac Golding and Jeremy Golding; and three grandchildren, Addison, Hannah and Josiah.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
