Study for Hogan Boulevard bike/pedestrian path getting underway
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Hogan Boulevard users between Mill Hall and Flemington know that highly traveled stretch of Route 150 can be a challenge and as a result not a lot of pedestrian/bicycle traffic is seen.
Now SEDA-COG is about to begin a study to “improve safe access for all users” and the next step in that effort is a pop-up tent visit in the Walmart parking lot on Tuesday, May 3 to gather public information.
SEDA-COG, at the request of Clinton County government, is undertaking the study with the aim, as the agency says, “to make Hogan Boulevard, from Mill Hall to Flemington, a safer, more comfortable, and enjoyable place to walk, bike, or roll.”
The Tuesday Walmart parking lot visit will be from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Lewisburg-based planning team said it “wants to hear from you:”
The public meeting will focus on gathering feedback on the corridor study and initial findings – we also want to hear your insights on how the corridor looks and is used today. How do you feel using the corridor today? If you bike or walk on Hogan Boulevard, let us know about your experiences. If you don’t walk or bike on the corridor – what are the barriers that hold you back from doing so?
SEDA-COG said for those who can’t make it Tuesday but want to share ideas should contact Carrie at clong@gfnet.com)
