Obituary
Ruth E.(Edie) Tarantella , 87, 6862 Renovo Road, Mill Hall, PA died March 22, 2022 at UPMC Lock Haven Hospital. Born July 14, 1934 in Renovo she was the daughter of the late Kenneth C.L. and Ruth Wadsworth Mincer. On July 29, 1950 in North Bend he married James A. Tarantella who died May 29, 2014. Edie was a long time employee at the Susque-View Home in Lock Haven where she was a nurses-aid.
Ruth was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Renovo, PA. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and more recently painting stones.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Eugene) Bradney, Kempner, TX and Gloria Nelson, Renovo, PA, three sons, James (Alieta) Tarantella, Renovo, PA ; Paul Tarantella and Joseph ( Kimberly) Tarantella, both of Mill Hall, PA, one sister, Beverly (Joseph) Beach, Rodman, NY, one brother, Miles (the late Linda) Mincer Watertown, NY, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Tarantella and one brother: Kenneth Mincer.
There will be no visitation or funeral services for Ruth E. (Edie) Tarantella.
Interment in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Hyner, PA
