Linda Carol Ruggiers

Obituary

Linda Carol Ruggiers, 52, of 212 Susquehanna Ave., Lock Haven passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 while visiting family in Milford, Delaware.

She was born August 12, 1969 in Lock Haven, the daughter of John James Ruggiers, Jr. and Floreen Carol Blazina Ruggiers.

Linda attended Lock Haven High School.

She was a compassionate caregiver for many years, working in both the nursing home setting and as a hospice aid.  She also cared for her parents while they were in failing health.  Recently, she performed housekeeping duties.

Linda and her companion, Greg Kramer, met on St. Patrick’s Day 1999 and remained together 23 years.  She and Greg enjoyed day trips to shop for antiques and craft items for their home, dinner and nights out and relaxing at the Cabin in Lamar.

For years, Linda was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed attending events with her Mother.

She loved socializing with friends, especially at the river, and traveling to visit family in the Delaware area and beaches.

Linda was a caring soul with a huge heart.  She sacrificed many things for the sake of others.

Linda spent time caring for cats in her Mother’s neighborhood and feeding and watching birds at home.  She also enjoyed spending time with her Mother’s dog, Cutter, and grand-dogs, Kairi and Kleah.

Her greatest love was raising her Golden Retriever, Chloe Madeline.

In addition to her companion, Greg Kramer, Linda is survived by a son, Michael T. Wise of Charleton; two brothers, John of Charelton and Mark of Lock Haven; and two sisters, Amy Donley (Jim) of Bellefonte and Cindy Ruggiers (Roosevelt Rebimbas) of Milford, Delaware.  She is also survived by several aunts and uncles as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; grandparents; grand-dog, Thor; and her first Golden Girl, Avery Lynn.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Rev. Mark Riley officiating.  Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery will follow.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to either the Clinton County S.P.C.A. or the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
