LHU Men’s Track & Field returns to PSAC Indoor Championships, starts strong

EDINBORO, PA – The Lock Haven University men’s indoor track & field team returned to indoor postseason competition as the Bald Eagles got off to a strong start today (Saturday, Feb. 26) on Day 1 of 2 at the 2021-22 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor T&F Championships.

Standout Ryan Miller (Bradford, Pa./Bradford) ran the top time and qualified first for tomorrow’s 400-meter dash finals. He ran 49.43 in the today’s prelims.

Miller came back and qualified for the finals at 200 meters. In the prelims today, he ran 22.58.

John Davern (Manchester, N.J./Manchester) put points on the board for Lock Haven after a strong showing in the 5,000-meter run. The Bald Eagle finished fourth of 16 in the 5K with a time of 15:22.85.

The Bald Eagles placed third (6 pts.) in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:18.22. Shippensburg won the event with a time of 10:15.69 and Seton Hill took second.
