“A Hometown” Luncheon Set For February 23

LOCK HAVEN, PA – On Wednesday, February 23 the Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Hometown” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.

The feature is the portion of the program when a knowledgeable speaker or someone who can demonstrate something of interest to the ladies is spotlighted. February’s feature is entitled “Main Street”. The feature guest is Lock Haven Downtown, Inc. Manager, Kira Rosamilia. who will let the ladies know about new shops and businesses and upcoming special events in the downtown Lock Haven area.

There is always a musical component at the luncheons. That part of February’s program is entitled “Downtown” and popular local soloist, Elaine Barth will provide some very special vocal selections.

“At Home” refers to the inspirational portion of the program. This will feature speaker Betty Blyler who will explore “A Change of Focus, A Change of Heart”. The program begins at 11:50 AM and the cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.

This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. The group is requesting that all who plan to attend make reservations. All reservations for the luncheon MUST be honored.
