Should it stay or should it go?
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven City Council at its meeting Monday night will have to decide to repair a suspended flashing traffic signal at W. Main and 1st Streets or take it down.
The city has been notified by PPL that the meter base for the suspended light is badly deteriorated and may need replaced. In the meantime the city has obtained a quote of $4,620 for repairs. As noted on the council agenda, council will consider repair or removal of the 4-way red flashing light.
The intersection also has the traditional ground-based stop signs at all four corners.
