CM Youth Wrestling: two golds, one silver

MONROEVILLE, PA – The Central Mountain wrestling program returned from Friday’s youth state championship tournament with two state champs and a runner-up.

At the junior high tourney, Dalton Perry took the crown by a 10-1 score at 117 pounds and Jake Weaver took the title at 147 pounds with a 7-1 championship bout win. Hunter Donley in the 11-12- year-old youth division finished in second place in the 135 pound category.

Also competing and earning wins were Luke Ananea at 117 pounds in the junior high division and Gavin Heverly at 80 pounds in the youth division.

More great news to post from the PA Youth & Jr High State Championships. Congrats to Hunter Donley on his runner-up finish at 11/12 year old 135 lbs. & Big Congrats to our 2 Central Mountain Jr High State Champions, Dalton Perry 117 & Jacob Weaver 147!! Both had convincing wins in the finals. Dalton won 10-1 & Jake 7-1.
