Keystone 9-11 Shuts Out JS GSV 9-11 All Stars in Dominant 10-0 Victory
LONG RUN—On a hot summer day, the Keystone 9-11 District All Star Team began their tournament season with a resounding 10-0 victory against the Jersey Shore GSV All Stars at Long Run Field on Saturday, June 22.
Keystone took control of the game early, breaking a scoreless tie with a five-run second inning and repeating the feat in the third. Leading the charge was Rylin Bathurst, who hit a double, scored twice, and drove in a run. Stafford Ley was equally impressive with a triple, a single, and two RBIs. Dylan McDermott contributed significantly with a double, a single, and one RBI.
Brooks Warner added to the offensive tally with a single. Carter Leone, despite not recording a hit, scored a run and stole two bases. Adam Meyer contributed with a double, a single, and an RBI.
