Wilbur Speakman Bannon – Obituary
Wilbur Speakman Bannon, 64, of Lock Haven unintentionally entered the Kingdom of God on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Born September 8, 1956 in West Chester, he was the son of Ernest and Isabelle Bannon and brother to: Ernest, Beverly, Mary, Janet, Linda, Virginia and Violet.
While hitchhiking on the Renovo Road, Wilbur met the former Debbie Wadsworth. The unconventional meeting led to their sharing of more than 41 years of unconditional love and marriage.
Wilbur was a dedicated man of faith, belonging to Grace Baptist Church, North Bend. He was often heard sharing the Word of Jesus.
He enjoyed martial arts, the PA Job Corps and loving on his pets: MeowMeow, Benji and Heidi.
Wilbur was loved by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as his many nephews and nieces who will forever remember him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wilbur’s name may be made to Grace Baptist Church, North Bend.
Services will be held at North Bend Cemetery. Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
