JoAnn Boyce – Obituary

JoAnn Boyce, 88, of Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born April 27, 1932 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of George W. and Evelyn (Shaffer) Dixon.

She was married to Kenneth V. Boyce who preceded her in death in 2004.

JoAnn was employed by Lock Haven Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

She was Methodist by faith.

JoAnn enjoyed traveling, shopping, gambling and music.  Most important to her was the time she spent with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan L. (Frank) Hanna and Dawn M. Kahle; her brother, Randall S. Dixon; six grandchildren: Christine Koch, Timothy Hanna, Ryan Hanna, Megan Boyce, Travis Kahle and Jarret Kahle; and seven great grandchildren: Adrian, Logan, Eleanor, Sadie, Allison, Jocelyn and Lydia.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth V. Boyce, II.

Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.  Interment will take place at Sunnsyside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in JoAnn’s name may be made to either Susquehanna Health Foundation, noting UPMC Family Hospice in the “memo line” or the Clinton County S.P.C.A. through the funeral home.
