Teresa (Mazzulla) Vankirk – Obituary
Teresa (Mazzulla) Vankirk, 67, of Lock Haven, died Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born November 26, 1952 in Renovo, the daughter of the late Ruth (Getz) Snyder and Andrew Mazzulla.
Teresa had a heart of gold. She loved her family more than anything; especially her grandsons, Devon and Josh, and her great-granddaughter, Aubree, whom she absolutely adored. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, doing puzzles, reading, going for long walks to enjoy nature and striking up conversations with people she met along the way. She was a big Steelers and Penn State fan and never missed a game.
She is survived by her daughter, Tressa (Dale) Davis; two grandsons, Devon (Dawn Hensel) Davis and Joshua (Emily Bailey) Davis; two great-grandchildren, Aubree and Cameron, whom she was looking forward to meeting; a step-son, William Darby, Jr.; and two step-grandsons, Jesse and Seth Darby. She is also survived by four sisters: Harriet English, Cindy Kurutz, Susan (Michael) Nelson and Bobbi Jean (Roger Toot) Zuback; four brothers: Richard (Karen), Michael (Jennifer), David (Natalie) and Boyd (Erin) Mazzulla; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Darby, Sr. and Ronald Vankirk; her step-grandson, James Davis; and her step-father, George Snyder.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with internment taking place at Fairview Cemetery, Farwell.
