Mildred L. (Miller) Fourney – Obituary

Mildred L. (Miller) Fourney, 82, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Haven Place.

Born November 12, 1937 in Renovo she was a daughter of the late Jess and Ruth (Driver) Miller.

She was married to Francis E. Fourney, Sr. who died in 1999.

Mildred worked as a private home care giver.

She was a 1956 graduate of Renovo High School. She enjoyed camping, dancing and bingo; especially watching her children and grandchildren in dirt track racing.

Mildred was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Renovo.

Surviving are three sons, Terry L. (Gail) Fourney of Mill Hall, Brian D. (Sheila) Fourney of Montrose and Dennis P. (Jennifer) Fourney of Mill Hall.

Nine grandchildren, Jessie, Teri, Denny, Bill, Brandy, Amanda, Justin, Michael and Allison. Thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded by a son Francis E. Fourney, Jr. two grandsons, Chad M. Fourney, and Joshua L. Fourney, a brother Pete Miller and a sister Mary Hess.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Mark Riley officiating.

A viewing will be held from Noon – 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.

Burial will follow at North Bend Cemetery.

In keeping with CDC guidelines proper distancing and a mask will be required.
