Lady ‘Cat Volleyball Rolls to 3-0 Win over St. Joseph Academy
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain girls volleyball team picked up a significant win over visiting St. Joseph’s Academy, wining 3-0 in straight games.
The Lady Wildcats held St. Joe’s to single digits in all three games defeating the Wolfpack, 25-7, 25-5 and 25-5 using solid serves and stingy defensive play.
Leading the way for the Lady ‘Cats was Mallory Eck with 4 aces, 3 kills and 3 digs. Kyleigh McDermit had 4 aces, 5 kills and 2 digs. Tatum Malone recorded 4 aces, 2 kills and 1 dig. Reese Doyle contributed 1 aces 2 kills and a dig.
The jayvee squad had similar success against the Wolfpack winning 2-0 in straight games by a score of 25-14 in each contest.
The Lady Wildcats hit the heart of their schedule over the next two weeks with the next challenge being a road trip to face Philipsburg-Osceola, on Monday Sept. 28, 2020.
