Clinton COVID-19 Cases up Two to 10; Centre County Holds at 73; Lyco up Two to 32
HARRISBURG β The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Friday update, confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., April 17, that there are 1,706 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 29,441. The department also reported 49 new deaths among positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 756 .All people are either in isolation at home or being treated at the hospital, the state health department said.
Clinton County cases moved from eight to 10; Lycoming moved up two to 32; and Centre County stayed at 73. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 9; Cameron, 1; Potter, 4; and Union, 25.
The state Health Department daily reports now list the number of residents tested by county. Clinton County, with a population of 38,632, has had 97 of its residents tested.
There are 117,932 patients who have tested negative to date.
