Marie J. Vilello Seeks Third Term as Prothonotary

Her candidacy announcement:

“Marie J. Vilello, incumbent Clinton County Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts, has announced she will seek her third term for the democratic nomination in the May 21st Primary Election.

Prior to being elected Prothonotary, she had four years experience with the Clinton County Economic Partnership and twelve years experience owning her own business researching deeds at the courthouse.

Vilello is the daughter of the late Daisy Orndorf. In addition to her husband, former Lock Haven Mayor, Rick Vilello, several family members have served the local community as public servants. Her late uncle, Domer Orndorf was Chief of Police for the City of Lock Haven for 12 years and another uncle, Jack Orndorf also served on the police force. Marie and Rick’s niece, Sara Stringfellow, whom they raised, served on Lock Haven City Council for four years.

Vilello is a 1982 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She is a member of the Clinton County Economic Partnership, The American Cancer Society’s “Shamrock’s” Relay for Life Team and a member of Vets+. She is a past member of the board of directors of the Clinton County United Way and a past member of Team RWB Lock Haven/Williamsport. She is married to Rick Vilello and May 21st, primary election day, will be their 25th wedding anniversary! They reside on West Main Street in Lock Haven with their two dogs, Leo and Gypsy.”
