Renovo Keystone Little League Kicks Off Season with Parade

RENOVO – With their first week of games in the book, the Renovo Keystone Little League players put on their uniforms to look their best for team photos, celebrating the kick-off of their season with a parade down Erie Avenue Friday evening before arriving at the fields in East Renovo to have their pictures taken. 

Despite seemingly most of the town’s youths riding the parade, many others lined the streets to catch a never ending supply of candy. Many young ball players liked showing off their arms, tossing candy as if they were throwing baseballs to the delight of those filling bags along the street. 

Next weekend the Keystone League, including teams from the Lock Haven area, will take part in an official kick off event in East Renovo with games to be played in all three fields by all teams.
