Lady Wildcats Come Up Short at Danville, 56-39
DANVILLE – The Lady Wildcats made their first conference road trip Wednesday night and came up on the short end of a 56-39 loss to Danville.
Central Mountain had a bit of difficulty in getting their offense going in the first half and found themselves trailing Danville, 29-15 at the half.
In the second half, the Lady ‘Cats were able to keep stride with Danville with the hosts edging CM 11-10 in the third quarter and 16-13 in the fourth period to set the final tally at 56-39.
Quinlynn Mccann set the pace for the Lady Wildcats with 16 points while Alyssa Fisher dropped in 9 points on the night. Mia Kopysciansky and Avery Baker each had 5 points against Danville while Olivia Anastos and Katie Burrows with 2 points each.
Central Mountain (0-3, 0-2) will have a few days off to regroup before they host DuBois in a non-conference game on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018.
