Bucks Fall to CV, 64-44 in Season Opener
LAWRENCEVILLE – The Bucks opens up their 2018-19 campaign with a tough 64-44 loss to host Indians, 64-44 in the Cowanesque Valley Tip-Off tourney.
CV rolled up an 36-19 halftime lead, then coasted to the win edging Bucktail 13-12 in the third quarter and 15-13 in the final period for the 20 point margin of victory.
Richard Perry led the Bucks with 14 points followed by Liam Dwyer with 12. Devin Serafini added 6 points with Gavin Becker at 5 and Gabriel Conway with 4. Zachary Pick score 2 and Ty Snyder scored a free throw for the Bucks.
The loss puts Bucktail in the consolation final on Saturday.
