Municipal Police Incident Blotter May 7, 2025
Lock Haven Police Department News:
Incidents:
Hit and Run – On April 10, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 9:40 a.m., a vehicle parked in the 200 block of W. Bald Eagle Street was struck. No information was left by the offending driver.
Crash – On April 22, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of W. Bald Eagle Street and W. Park Street. Unit 1 was traveling north on W. Park Street and attempted to turn onto W. Bald Eagle Street, at which point it struck Unit 2, which was traveling west on W. Bald Eagle Street. The driver of Unit 1 reported that his view was obstructed by parked vehicles along the street, preventing him from being able to see Unit 2.
Crash – On April 23, 2025, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of W. Bald Eagle Street and Commerce Street. Unit 1 was traveling south on Commerce Street, stopped at the stop sign at W. Bald Eagle Street, and then proceeded into the intersection, where it struck Unit 2, which was traveling west on W. Bald Eagle Street. Unit 1 was towed from the scene, and the driver was issued a citation.
Crash – On April 28, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash on E. Main Street near its intersection with N. Grove Street. Unit 1 had been traveling north on N. Grove Street and turned onto E. Main Street. While turning, Unit 1 crossed into the northern lane of E. Main Street and struck a vehicle parked on the north side of E. Main Street. Unit 1 was towed from the scene.
Offenses Charged:
Zach Nagel, 34, of Gallitzin, was arrested for Simple Assault. On April 7, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Nagel struck a victim multiple times in the head and body while outside The Old Corner Grill & Bottle Shop, 205 N. Grove Street. The assault caused the victim to fall to the ground, where Nagel continued to strike him. The victim sustained a large laceration to the head, which required stitches.
Melvin Elias, 56, of Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault. On April 15, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Elias broke a glass pane in the door of an apartment in the 100 block of E. Main Street in order to gain entry. When Elias broke the glass, the victim sustained injuries to their hand and face.
Conner Wagner, 21, Lock Haven, was arrested for a PFA violation. On April 22, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Wagner was found in an apartment located in the 600 block of E. Bald Eagle Street, which he had been evicted from through the Protection from Abuse order.
