Clemente Competes at National Tournament
Four members of the Bellwood-Antis High School freshmen class competed in the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) Tournament in Chicago, Illinois from May 23 – May 25, 2014. Each participant qualified for the event by placing in the top two in their respective regional qualifying tournament. The National Tournament provided each student with the opportunity to compete against their peers from across the country in the art of formal public speaking and presentation. Participants are judged on their ability to research, develop, practice, and deliver their performance which must be approximately 10 minutes in length. Pictured above, from left to right, is Grace Misera, Haley McCloskey, Stephanie Mills, and Addison Clemente. Haley and Stephanie competed separately in the Oratorical Declamation event, while Grace and Addison competed together in Duo Interpretation. Addison is the great granddaughter of Irma Clemente and Genevieve Bressler, both of Renovo.
