Michael T. Rooney – Obituary
Michael T. Rooney, 72, 10272 Kettle Creek Rd., Renovo, PA died June 1, 2014 in the Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 26, 1942 in Renovo, PA the son of the late Leo P. & Daisey Bell Summerson Rooney.
Mike was a member of the Kettle Creek Hose Co. & Ambulance Assoc., the NRA & the Tamarack Sportsman’s Assoc. He attended the Sunset Memorial Chapel. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building things out of wood.
He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Kane who lives in Rauchtown. PA, one son Michael T. Rooney Jr. (Cindy Huilker- Gummo) of Lock Haven, PA; three daughters, Melissa Rooney of Rauchtown, PA; JoAnna (Mike) Terasreski of Loganton, PA; Andrea (David) Gheret, of Flemington, PA; two brothers Patrick (Shirley) Rooney, Lynn Haven, Fl & Edward (Carol) Rooney Biloxi, MS; two sisters Ann Nesman & Helen Green both of Cross Fork. Seven Grandchildren & five Great-Grandchildren.
Services will be held Sat., June 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of New Maple Grove Cemetery, Leidy Twp., Clinton Co., PA with Martha Sykes officiating. Burial will be in the New Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received 1 hr. prior to services
in the chapel.
