CM vs Manheim Township (Live Updates)
UNIVERSITY PARK – The District 6 Champion, Lady Wildcats host Manheim Township, the District 3 third place team at 4:30 p.m. in the first round of the PIAA AAAA Softball Championship playoffs.
In the Max Preps rankings, the Blue Streak (17-2) are ranked 9th with a 15.27 rating while Central Mountain (17-3) is ranked No. 1 with a 19.2 rating. Though, such rankings are of little use once the first pitch is thrown in a single elimination tournament.
Statistically, the two teams match up very equally. Manheim has averaged 6.9 runs per game on 10.8 hits while limiting errors to 1.3 per outing.
CM has scored 7.2 runs, 8.8 hits and 1.5 miscues per game.
