Lady Wildcats fall to Mifflinburg 47-21

MIFFLINBURG – Central Mountain traveled to Heartland Conference foe, Mifflinburg to start out the new year falling to the other ‘Wildcats’ 47-21.

The Lady ‘Cats just couldn’t seem to find their offensive rhythm and could’t break double-digits in the first half, trailing Mifflinburg 26-6 at intermission.

Mifflinburg maintained their effort in the second half outscoring CM 21-15 in the second half to close out the 47-21 win.

Scoring for Centra Mountain were Averie Pringle, 7; Sadie McCaleb and Elaina Eckley each score 6 and Morgan Wentzel contributed 2 points on the nite.

The Lady Wildcats won’t have any time to rest as they host Du Bois, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.
