Three City Residents Bound Over in April Drug Case

LOCK HAVEN – Three third ward residents have been bound over to Clinton County Court, all charged with selling drugs, their arrest coming in a police raid in April.

Jamarr Trevale Hairston, 22; Brimir Akeem Grove, 19; and Charles Lewis, 19, of 505 West Church St. were all arrested after the Clinton County East Drug Task Force, including members of the Lock Haven City Police and the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation executed a search warrant on that address a little after 6 a.m. April 19.

All charges were bound over Tuesday relating to the alleged sale of drugs.

The defendants are alleged to have engaged in a series of drug transactions with a confidential informant.  According to Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse the search warrant also resulted in the seizure of an additional 77 grams of marijuana from the residence and various other items related to the distribution and packaging of marijuana.  He said a large sum of cash was also seized from the residence, which included pre-recorded cash used in the controlled buys conducted by police just days earlier.
